Morsy is built by Saka Studio, a solo indie studio run by Enes Vural. Everything you see here — the tools, the blog, the app in beta — is one person shipping small honest software.

Track record

  • Watch Morse — standalone watchOS Morse trainer using haptic taps on the wrist. Shipped earlier this year. 200+ App Store downloads and counting, with a small handful of paid conversions. Try it on the App Store.
  • Morsy — the phone-first companion. Koch method + Farnsworth timing + daily streaks + mistake drills + Apple Watch sync. Currently in beta.
  • learnmorsy.com — this site. Free Morse tools, honest learning content, and a translator that renders WAV audio entirely in the browser.

Why Morse

Most Morse apps drown beginners in mnemonics or slow the audio down so much that you have to re-learn every letter at real speed later. The Koch method — full-speed exposure to two characters at a time, unlocking more as accuracy crosses 90% — has worked for 80+ years and every ham radio operator I've read on the topic converges on it. Nobody had wrapped it in a coach that doesn't feel like a worksheet, so I built one.

Background

I'm a Flutter and iOS developer by trade. Started with iOS/Swift, moved to Flutter for cross-platform delivery, added watchOS/SwiftUI for the wrist app. I write engineering notes on DEV.to and mirror them on Hashnode. My open work lives on GitHub.

I picked up CW (Morse on ham radio) while building Watch Morse. Turned out the audio training I needed for myself was the same one every beginner needs. That kicked off Morsy.
